Sea Corner is situated off the main road amongst the shops, pubs and restaurants within the lovely seaside villiage of Highcliffe. The award winning beaches are only 200 yards away and Highcliffe Castle with its many events is just a short walk away. There is golf, fishing, riding and sailing facilities nearby and some excellent walks either along the coast or into the New Forest. Highcliffe also has its own weekly market held on Fridays.
A few miles away is the large town of CHRISTCHURCH. The name is taken from the great Norman Prioy Church, which is the longest parish church in England, and is set alongside the Norman Castle amidst lots of little streets with quaint shops and restaurants.
Delightful riverside walks lead on to Stanpit Marsh, an area of special interest for wildlife lovers, and Christchurch Harbour, which is an important spot for migrating birds. Christchurch also has a weekly market held in Saxon Square every Monday.
The beaches are a few minutes walk from the Guest House and can also be accessed from the grounds of Highcliffe Castle. The restored castle, originally built in 1835, is set in peaceful gardens and is an excellent place to relax and explore the historical exhibition of antiques.
